YouDorks Productions C2E2 Kickstarter Campaign →
It is with great excitement that we’re informing you that YouDorks Productions has launched its first Kickstarter campaign!
Kickstarter is website that helps fund creative projects through multiple donations. In the past few weeks we have proposed our project to Kickstarter in hopes of gaining approval and finally received approval this morning. We have now been given a page on the Kickstarter website, which will enable anyone to donate money to fund our project.
Our next project is a segment on the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, also known as C2E2, taking place from April 13-15, 2012.
In this segment, we would like to look at the growth of a major comic convention in the midwest. C2E2 provides the opportunity for the nation’s comic fans to meet in the middle as well as give comic fans from the midwest a new and bigger way to meet their favorite artists and see their favorite characters without traveling across the country.
But, as with anything there is always a catch. In order to receive donations, we must reach our project fund goal. If we don’t, we will not receive any money. Our goal is $5000.
Please vist http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1767054565/youdorks-at-c2e2 to help us spread the word and raise money for this project. Hopefully with every one’s help and support we will have enough funding to get to Chicago and create our segment.
Have a happy and healthy holiday!
Best,
The Dorks
